Give Big Minden is gaining momentum as donations continue rolling in for local nonprofits across the community. The annual giving event brings residents together to support organizations that serve Minden and surrounding areas, with funds raised going directly back into local programs, schools and services.
The number of organizations taking part in the event has more than tripled from 16 in the first year to 44 in 2025. And the funds raised for area nonprofits continue to grow each year, with records set each year since the Big Give’s inception. (over $411,000 raised in 2025)
The annual event, which began on May 1 and ended Thursday, helps raise money for Lincoln and Lancaster County nonprofit organizations. This year, more than 500 nonprofit organizations participated, raising a preliminary total of $9.3 million.
